Lyn-Genet Recitas- Director of Nutrition
Lyn-Genet  Recitas  opened Neighborhood Holistic a non profit holistic health center in Central Harlem in 2007. Neighborhood Holistic offers all of their healing modalities on a sliding scale, so that all residents of Harlem can enjoy the benefits of holistic health.Lyn-Genet has been practicing yoga for 35 years and became certified in  Chinese  Food Theory over 20 yrs ago and is a holistic nutritionist.  In  addition, she is certified in yoga, prenatal yoga, herbology and homeopathy. She receives  referral from over 50 health professionals based on her work with  physical rehabilitation and nutrition. Lyn-Genet  has developed "The Plan" an anti-inflammatory nutrition  protocol which has helped  thousands of clients with their health and  weight goals.

Dr. Katie Reinholtz
Katie  developed a strong interest in Natural Medicine as an undergraduate  student studying Psychology and Chemistry at Virginia Tech. She went on  to attend Naturopathic Medical school at the National College of Natural  Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Her interests and training include  women's health, holistic endocrinology, herbal medicine, and nutrition.  She is passionate about providing good integrative healthcare and looks  forward to helping clients discover food as medicine as an associate at  The Plan!
 


Janet Bardini, L.Ac
Janet  Bardini received her Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Pacific  College of Oriental Medicine, New York. She is licensed in New York and  Connecticut, and is a Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture through  the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental  Medicine. Her studies of Oriental Medicine have taken her to China,  where she studied in various hospitals and clinics in Beijing.  Janet’s  local hospital experience includes an internship at St. John's Riverside  Hospital in Yonkers.

 
Cindy Hwang
Cindy's passion for nutrition and health led her to her certification in holistic nutrition at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2007. She has her second degree in Dietetics, and is currently working towards her Masters in Nutrition and Exercise Science. In addition to her nutrition work, Cindy has developed a program called "Senior Strength" for The Korean Community Services of Metropolitan NY senior centers and teaches cardiovascular and strengthening exercises tailored to the specific needs of older adults.
